Bio

I’m a licensed attorney and teacher at a top Massachusetts high school, where I teach AP European History, AP Macroeconomics, U.S. History, and Law. I earned my B.A. in History from Harvard in 2014 and my J.D. from Yale Law School in 2017, and I am admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. I have over a decade of experience tutoring law, history, and writing, both privately and at the Harvard Writing Center.

I’m a licensed attorney and teacher at a top Massachusetts high school, where I teach AP European History, AP Macroeconomics, U.S. History, and Law. I earned my B.A. in History from Harvard in 2014 and my J.D. from Yale Law School in 2017, and I am admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. I have over a decade of experience tutoring law, history, and writing, both privately and at the Harvard Writing Center.

I regularly work with law students in 1L doctrinal courses such as Contracts, Torts, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, and Property, as well as in bar exam preparation and legal writing. My focus is on helping students bring structure and clarity to complex material and translate their understanding into strong exam performance.

I also work extensively with AP European History students and understand firsthand how DBQs, LEQs, and SAQs are evaluated. My goal is to help students think more clearly, write more precisely, and feel confident in demanding academic settings.

I live with my wife, two young children, four dogs, and about fifty chickens on our farm in Douglas, Massachusetts. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I play guitar, piano, and drums.

Great on both content and test-taking strategies

Mike is a great teacher. My daughter had a few sessions with him for AP Euro, and he was excellent at reviewing and testing her knowledge of specific content. But he also helped her to refine her test-taking approach with specific feedback to her tendencies. He's really nice, chill, encouraging - highly recommend!
