I'm a current Graduate Student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, pursuing my Master's degree in Applied Computer Science. I also got my Bachelor's degree from Wentworth with a minor in applied math. At Wentworth I've worked for over a year as an embedded tutor for Calculus I, Calculus II, and Discrete Math. This position involved me sitting in on a class in what was essentially a TA position as well as conducting Review Sessions and helping students out of class in more of a traditional tutoring role. I worked this position both for in-person and online classes. Additionally I've worked as an independent 1-on-1 tutor, from middle school students up to and including for a PhD student's Research Methods statistics course.
My specialties lie in Math and Computer Science. My graduate program in Computer Science has a focus on Machine Learning and the math behind it, and my Bachelor's degree was done with the aforementioned minor in Applied Math. I'm well versed in college level mathematics, being extremely familiar with subjects such as Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and Set Theory; as well as Computer Science topics such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Neural Networks, and Operating Systems and languages such as Python, Java, C, C#, MATLAB, and others.
