For past year, I've worked at Mathnasium, assisting Pre-K to high school kids with math support and expanding their skills. Inside of the classroom, I serve as a peer tutor with weekly tutoring sessions helping the kids in my grade with AP Statistics. As well, I have devoted time both in and out of school at my local Boys and Girls Club assisting in their music wing and teach young kids guitar, bass, and ukulele. Often, I find myself on the weekends helping my peers with their English essays....

I attend a music school as an instrumental major for guitar, where I've had the opportunity to perform as a pit musician in my schools production of Pippin the Musical in March. Last year, I was the featured guitarist for my school's Tina Turner Revue which in the opening night raised over $250,000 for my school. Routinely in school, I am in the top-ranked Advanced Jazz Ensemble. Through this ensemble, I've had opportunities to play and collaborate with several Grammy Award winning artists, and seek instruction with them biweekly through Berklee College of Music's Jazz and Gender Justice Department. Throughout the past 2 years, I've played at venues and performances which include the Berklee Performance Center, Boston Symphony Hall (Opening up for the Boston Pops), and MGM Music Hall, in total raising over 1.6 million dollars for my school. Three times a week, I'm at Berklee College of Music, taking classes on a full scholarship while maintaining my high school academics, with an unweighted GPA of 3.9.
I've been able to take math classes a year above my peers, finishing AP Statistics my junior year, and taking Precalculus and Calculus through different colleges via dual enrollment along with Principles of Marketing and Business Math.
I've strived to make my teaching approaches unique and catered to the individual, explaining complex concepts in a way that is understandable to others. Feel free to reach out to me to see if I would be a good fit for your needs!
