Hi! I'm Hannah, a dedicated educator with a strong background in academic support, special education, and the arts. I currently work full-time as a paraeducator in a public elementary school, supporting second-grade students with special needs in both academic and social-emotional development. I also have experience tutoring one-on-one, especially in reading, writing, early math, and study skills.
Before this, I spent 3 years teaching dance and fitness to children ages 3 to 18, directed a children’s gym, and studied education alongside my BFA in Dance from the University of Kansas. I’ve worked with children as young as 3 months and as old as high schoolers, always bringing patience, creativity, and a belief in their potential.
I am currently in graduate school earning my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with the goal of becoming a school adjustment counselor. This allows me to bring a whole-child perspective to tutoring, focusing not just on academics but also on confidence, emotional regulation, and motivation.
Whether your child needs help catching up, building study habits, or gaining confidence in the classroom, I would love to support them in a way that is engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their needs.
