About Amelia

Bio

Since I graduated high school in 2009, I have tutored and taught many levels of math in schools, in learning centers, and one-on-one. In schools, I have 2 years of elementary, 6 years of middle school, and 3 years of high school experience. Now, I teach high school math in Providence (specifically, Algebra II and AP Precalculus, but I have done it all). I have experience tutoring for the SAT, ACT, and Math Praxis exam, as well, with SAT Math tutoring as my specialty.

I took the SAT twice and received Math section scores of 770 and 780. Now, I am a math teacher in Rhode Island, where our state test is the SAT for juniors. I have taken sample SAT tests from CollegeBoard and received an 800. I am the main SAT Math tutor for my school and have helped countless students to improve their scores on the math section.
