I have been teaching math at the high school level for the past 20 years. I teach at a vocational school so I must be able to adapt to all learning styles. I feel it is critical to understand why something is and not just how to go through the motions to get the correct answer. It is my belief that once students understand why they are doing something, they will be able to think in a more critical manner for future problems having similar characteristics.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor
Alison helped my daughter with pre-calculus grade 11 after an extended medical leave had her falling behind. We worked weekly to get my daughter caught up and are continuing with the tutoring throughout the term to keep her on point.
