I earned bachelor's degrees from Lesley University, where I completed a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish, graduating magna cum laude. I’ve always enjoyed helping students make sense of math, and my academic training gave me a strong foundation in both content knowledge and effective teaching strategies.
I have over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience working with students across K–12, including teaching experience in the Dominican Republic. I’ve taught in classrooms, worked one-on-one with students, and supported small groups, both in person and online. I enjoy adapting my approach to meet each student where they are. I focus on helping students understand the why behind the math so they feel more confident and less overwhelmed.
I currently work at a high school in the Boston area and also tutor students in math from grades K-12. I aim to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and parents feel confident in their child’s progress.
