I specialize in AP World History: Modern and help students build both the historical knowledge and analytical writing skills needed to succeed in the course and on the AP exam. My tutoring focuses on DBQs, LEQs, SAQs, multiple-choice questions, historical reasoning, sourcing, contextualization, evidence, thesis development, and timed writing.

My approach goes beyond memorizing names and dates. I help students understand the larger historical processes connecting societies from 1200 CE to the present and then teach them how to turn that knowledge into strong AP-style arguments. Lessons can focus on current coursework, a difficult unit, essay development, test preparation, or a structured review of the entire AP World History curriculum.

I hold a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, where I was on the Dean's List. I have extensive experience providing personalized one-on-one instruction to middle school, high school, and college students. In addition to AP World History, I tutor writing, social studies, Spanish, math, and debate.

My goal is to identify exactly where a student is losing points or struggling with comprehension and build instruction around those needs. Whether a student wants to improve a course grade, become a stronger historical writer, or prepare for the AP exam, I provide structured and individualized instruction designed around that goal.
