I attended Mount Holyoke College and earned a B.A. with a double major in English and Astronomy. After working as a math tutor in Springfield, MA for two years, I moved to Virginia where I worked as a Research Assistant for the George Washington Papers project. I then earned a M.A. in English Literature at the University of Virginia while working part-time as a Cognitive Brain Trainer for LearningRx. I have since been teaching (first middle school, then high school) in Springfield since 2019....
