Hi! My name is Roshni and I am PhD student conducting research in biology and neuroscience. I am eager to help each student achieve their distinct academic goals, whether it be to improve their understanding of a subject, study beyond traditional class curricula, or just learn something new for fun! My first lesson is always free.

I have 8+ years of tutoring experience, where I have worked with students on high school math (algebra, geometry, etc.), biology, chemistry, and standardized test prep. Math and science can be immensely intimidating. Amidst numerous theorems, formulas, and definitions, it’s easy to get lost in the details. But having had success in AP level coursework, standardized testing, college coursework, research, science competitions, and tutoring, I have come to realize the importance of understanding the big picture in navigating these subjects. I hope to use this approach to provide clarity in these challenging (yet fascinating!) subjects.

Excellent tutor and great ethic

Roshni is a very committed and excellent tutor. She taught my daughter AP Chemistry and is now preparing her to take SAT English. I found Roshni to be very intelligent and comes with a lot of patience. Her approach to help students understands the concepts first and build on it shows her methodical approach to teaching. Anyone looking for tutoring, I can say without doubt would be very pleased with Roshni's teaching skills.
