A Great Start to Examination Preparation!
I had begun preparing for a comprehensive multiple-choice examination with Amanda W. Amanda was obviously an expert and she taught me a lot. Initially, in the beginning, we reviewed some approaches to the questions. She listened, as I recounted during practice quizzes: One reads the entire question, treats the question as a separate one from the others, looks for key words, figures out what the question is asking, deciphers what knowledge, skills, and abilities the question is testing. One uses the process-of-elimination (POE), when selecting the correct answer from the four (4) choices. One reads all four (4) answers, before selecting from them! As I practiced these approaches to multiple-choice questions, it had helped increase and boost my confidence in my selection of the correct answers. I wasn't cognizant of these approaches before, and I'm quite happy with the progress I've made. Thanks.
