Imagine the thrill of uncovering something new and feeling that "aha!" moment wash over you. That's the magic of learning, and it's what fuels my passion. For over three decades (since 1989!), I've had the privilege of guiding learners in public, charter, private schools, through homeschooling, and in private sessions. I also have extensive experience guiding learners who have various challenges, including Autism, ADHD, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and more!

For over 30 years I have worked as in-home and community support, case manager, special education teacher, and coordinator with people who have ADHD and other challenges privately, in public and charter schools, at church and with various agencies. Further, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology (with minor in Special Education) and Master's in Crisis and Trauma. I am therefore skilled in making an individualized, supportive, collaborative plan for reaching student goals and aspirations, highlighting and building upon areas of strength to improve upon areas of growth.

I have a Bachelor's in psychology and a minor in special education, specializing in individualizing instruction by using strengths to help build strength in areas of opportunity and growth. I have been in this field, working with both children and adults, for many years. I am currently a Community Case Manager working with adults who have ASD or ID. I have piano students with ASD.

I have been leading Bible Studies since 1991, am an ordained Christian pastor, have led many ministries throughout the years. Bible study topics I am skilled in include but are not limited to: Books of the Bible, women in the Bible, men in the Bible, LGBTQ+ and the Bible (affirming), anxiety, Christian leadership and more.
