Over the past four years, I have taught both middle and high school students in classroom settings, splitting my time between general and special education. My teaching journey has included a unique student-teaching experience in Denmark, where I adopted Scandinavian pedagogical approaches that empower students to take ownership of their learning. Additionally, I have worked as a 1:1 tutor, supporting middle school students in science, writing, math, and executive functioning.
My tutoring approach emphasizes building strong, trusting relationships with students. I believe that learning flourishes in a safe environment where students feel encouraged to explore, make mistakes, and grow.
