Hi! I’m Archie, a fourth-year medical student with an academic background in public health and biology. I graduated from Johns Hopkins with honors. Throughout college, I tutored a wide range of students in subjects including statistics and biochemistry, working both in person and online. After graduating, I worked in policy but also tutored students preparing for the MCAT and worked closely with high school and college students on college and medical school applications, personal statements, and interview preparation. I have conducted many mock interviews and am currently a medical school admissions interviewer as well! I also have experience helping with ACT and SAT prep.
As a tutor, my approach is highly individualized and collaborative. I focus on understanding how each student thinks, where they feel stuck, and what their goals are. I guide students step-by-step to help them develop strong problem-solving skills, test-taking strategies, and long-term understanding. I understand that each student has a unique learning style, and I strive to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Now, as I'm in my final year of medical school, I’m excited to return to tutoring with a deeper clinical, academic, and mentoring perspective. I genuinely enjoy teaching and take pride in helping students achieve goals that once felt out of reach. I would love to work together to develop a plan that fits your needs and helps you succeed.
