Hi, and thank you for inquiring about my services! I am a recent Northeastern grad where I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors' of Science in Health Sciences. I was pre-med in college and will be applying to medical schools next year. I have extensive tutoring experience and experience working with kids aged 6-16, across math, english, and science topics. In sciences, I would be open to tutoring in Biology, Anatomy, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. In math, I would be able to tutor in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics. In english, I can assist with essay and academic writing, general writing skills, creative writing, and reading comprehension. I would also be happy to help with any sort of test preparation.

My approach to tutoring is a patient and compassionate one-- I believe that with time, practice, and patient, careful explanation, all students are capable of mastery! I hope to make your student feel safe and comfortable making mistakes with me, and to gain confidence and excitement for subject areas they may be struggling with. I am currently working with 3 different students tutoring Algebra 1. In the past, I have experience tutoring in subjects including algebra, geometry, chemistry, foreign language, essay writing, and reading comprehension - for 2 years during high school and 1 year in college. Most recently, I was a summer camp arts instructor this past summer, where I led campers in elaborate craft projects individually and collaboratively. Throughout university, I continued to practice education through leading facilitated workshops and discussions with freshman classes on violence prevention to improve campus safety.
