Experienced tutor with a masters in clinical psychology

Hello students! My name is Zach and I am pursuing my clinical doctorate in psychology. I have received a masters degree from William James college, and currently work as a clinician for military service members, veterans, and their families. I completed undergrad at UMASS Amherst, where I majored in psychology and public health. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from both degrees. I have been privileged to work on research projects with Harvard University and the University of Michigan in addition to my own school. I have been published in research articles and presented posters at the American Psychological Association's annual conference. I have tutored over 35 students in psychology and in my personal side hobby of playing poker, specifically Texas hold'em. I have taught children as young as 12 and adults alike, with most of my students being college age. All tutoring has been completed via a virtual meeting, but I am willing to meet in person if that is how you learn best. My style of teaching focuses on meeting students where they are at in their current level of understanding and working with them in language they can understand. I use an interactive teaching style that pulls from real examples or HIPPA compliant patient history so that concepts can be applied to the real world. My goal is to help you become the student you want to be to pursue your passion and secure your future.
