Ipswich father committed to your child's success in math

I'm a happily married father of two boys, four and seven, and live in Ispwich. I've always enjoyed solving math problems and was able to do some tutoring right after college that entailed one on one math session and SAT test preparation. Why do I want to tutor now? Because I want your son or daughter to succeed in the subject. As a high school student, English and history were more challenging for me. Having an enthusiastic tutor in those subjects would have helped me tremendously. I'd like to share my enthusiasm for the subject and help your child work towards their goals.

My methods are suited to each child's needs. I can spend time on individual problem exercises, or I can provide general instruction on math topics. As an environmental consultant, I have worked with a wide range of people and have enjoyed the interaction very much. Much of my work entailed explaining complex problems to my clients in language that they could understand. I look forward to taking a similar approach with your child.

I have a B.A. from Middlebury College with a major in Geography and minor in mathematics and an M.S. from Utah State University in Geography.
