I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with a Master of Science in Pain, Research, Education, and Policy from Tufts University School of Medicine. I also hold a Master's degree in Acupuncture and am a licensed clinician in two U.S. states. For more than 20 years, I have worked in healthcare, education, coaching, and communication, teaching adults in one-on-one settings and adapting my approach to each individual's learning style, goals, and abilities. My background allows me to clearly explain complex concepts and support learners seeking to improve English for professional, medical, workplace, or everyday communication.
My English teaching experience includes tutoring adult learners from Ukraine and Spanish-speaking countries through one-on-one virtual lessons. I create personalized lessons that focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and real-world communication. I believe students learn best through engaging, practical lessons that build confidence while addressing their individual goals. I provide continuous feedback and adapt each lesson to help students make steady progress.
In addition to tutoring English, I have spent many years coaching, mentoring, and educating clients in healthcare and wellness settings. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to connect with learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence to communicate effectively in English for work, travel, education, and daily life.
