I am a professor of mathematics with deep knowledge of all areas. I worked at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, and now I am a Fellow in the Core Geometry Department of a Fortune 500 software company located in Boston, MA. I got my Ph.D. in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics. I have about 8 years of teaching experience in universities in various areas of mathematics but probability and statistics are obviously my favorite. I have many published papers in refereed journals on these topics.
I listed just a few math topics (Algebra, Calculus, SAT, ...), but I can help you with virtually any area of mathematics excluding few highly specific areas like Topology or Number Theory. Both college and high school levels are OK for me, up to Ph.D. students.
But my special and biggest interest would be to teach SAT math. When my daughter went to a high school and SAT test became one of our main goals I did not just find a tutor for her. I and a few of my colleagues analyzed the current SAT tests structure and detected the most important topics that you really need to know to succeed. And finally, I and my team developed the educational platform ithinksat.com with the goal to get the perfect SAT math skills in a most efficient manner especially if you want to get a very high SAT score, like 750-800. I can find quickly what topics are most beneficial for you in order to raise your score. And then I will give you math problems that would help you to be better and better at this topic. There is no magic here: the SAT test is really pretty simple and you should not be Einstein to get a good score with a correct approach to your practice.
Mathematics is not hard, you will see it! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
