I am a recent graduate from Quinnipiac University's Masters of Arts in Teaching Program for Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology. I was an intern and student teacher at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, CT during my time as a graduate student at Quinnipiac.
In addition to my duties as a student at Quinnipiac and an intern in Cheshire, I tutored two students in Chemistry and one student in Biology. I also have experience tutoring college level students. During my undergraduate years as a Sports Medicine major at Quinnipiac, I volunteered as a tutor for students in the years below me to help them through the program. I feel that my broad tutoring experiences have made me a well-rounded, prepared, and relatable tutor. I would love to have to opportunity to help students succeed and enjoy the learning associated with the subject areas of Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
I am qualified to tutor Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology as a result of the classes that I have taken, and experiences that I have had. I am a certified Athletic Trainer, which the preparation for this certification required an intense course load highly focusing on Anatomy and other Life Sciences. I also completed the Masters of Arts in Teaching program at Quinnipiac University, which led to my certification of a Secondary Biology teacher.
