I have 12 months of tutoring experience working with middle school and high school students in one-on-one settings. I previously tutored high school students in pre-calc and SAT prep. My tutor strategy is a "first principles" approach. I focus on the basic rules that make up the foundation of a subject by breaking concepts into manageable steps. That way, students are able to derive their own solutions and memorize less.
