I am an Ivy League graduate and incoming M1 at Harvard Medical School. I applied during the 2024-25 cycle and can help students with MCAT studying, review application materials (activities, primary, and secondary essays), and help with interview prep. I received 5 interview invites during my cycle (4 of which were to T10 schools) and was accepted to multiple US MD schools.

I am a 2023 graduate of Brown University. At Brown, I studied Environmental Engineering, and I have a solid foundation in engineering and sciences from this education. During my senior year at Brown, I decided to change careers to become a non-traditional pre-med.

From 2023-24, I completed a 1-year post baccalaureate pre-medical program at Goucher College, during which I completed Chemistry I & II, Physics I & II, Biochemistry, and Biology I & II. Throughout this program, I studied for the MCAT and took it on June 1st, 2024. I can help with MCAT study techniques, content review, strategy and time management, and study plans as well as general pre-med required content. In my own practice exams, I scored up to a 523 before taking my exam, and I worked hard to understand the concepts, content, and AAMC logic used in each section and researched strategies to tackle each section during my exam.

As a tutor, I have been tutoring students since high school. I look forward to working with my students on both their coursework but also their applications. I am happy to work with students during their application journey, drafting and editing stages for essays, advice for pre-medical extracurriculars, and general application review to ensure that their application conveys their strengths as an applicant. My goal as a tutor is to help pre-med students with coursework, MCAT preparation, and med school applications to build confidence and success into your journey as a pre-med!

Approved Subjects

Biology

Biology

I took Biology 1 and 2 this past year as a pre-medical student at Goucher College. I learned about cell biology, genetics, and biotechnology in my first semester, and then went over larger organ systems like the immune system, digestive system, endocrine system, circulatory system, and renal system in the second semester.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have taken Chemistry 1&2 and can teach and help with all chemistry topics, ranging from the basics of atomic chemistry to thermodynamics, titrations, and equilibrium.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

During my medical school application cycle, I wrote hundreds of supplemental essays and worked hard on my primary personal statement and experiences, aiming to reflect both the breadth and depth of my experiences as a candidate for medical school. I received 5 interview invites to US MD schools (4/5 to top 10 schools) and 2 acceptances. I am excited to work with students to ensure that their essays convey their interest in and passion for medicine while helping them stand out due to their unique experiences.
MCAT

MCAT

I studied for the MCAT for 6 months while taking classes as a full-time post-baccalaureate pre-medical student. I worked through UWorld and AAMC materials and used Anki to study. I improved my score from a 512 to a 523 on AAMC practice full length materials. I took Physics 1 and 2, Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Biochemistry, and Biology 1 and 2 throughout the year and studied all psychology/sociology content, so I understand many approaches to the subject material and can help with reviewing content, designing study plans, and practicing content and exam review throughout the process.
Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

I took Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 in the 2023-24 school year and was taught very well in all subjects. I discovered many resources during my time taking organic chemistry that helped me to understand course concepts, and I would be excited to pass on my knowledge or dive into understanding complex topics with students.
Physics

Physics

AP Physics C Kinematics score: 5 Received an A in all college and high school physics courses.
