I have over 20 years of experience teaching all stages of the writing process (generating ideas, drafting, revising, editing; sentence and paragraph-level work as well), the reading process (from beginning/developing to advanced reading skills), and literary studies (including close reading, analysis, and theory). I also am licensed to teach grades 5-12 in Massachusetts and have experience working individually and in small groups with middle and high school students. (I am also the mom of a middle schooler and high schooler and am very familiar with curriculum on that intimate level.)
I am comfortable providing materials for us or working with materials you bring to our session.
