Hi, my name is Bella Buonaugurio and I am currently a kindergarten special ed teacher as well as a tutor with experience with kindergarteners all the way to adults.
In May of 2024, I graduated from Salve Regina University with my bachelors degree in elementary and special education and a 3.95 GPA in the Pell Honors Program. Through my time at Salve, I gained experience teaching 1st graders all the way up to 6th graders. I also worked at Salve's tutoring center where I supported college students in writing as well as various subjects such as psychology, history, mathematics, and French. By my junior year, I became a peer academic coach as well supporting students with time management, study skills, and preparation for teaching exams including the PRAXIS and MTEL. This was my favorite job because I loved being able to watch students grow and offer them the support they needed. Because of my love for tutoring, was promoted to head tutor in 2023.
I passed all of my PRAXIS and MTELs with excellent study habits and strong scores so I am also interested in tutoring students preparing for these as I know how stressful they can be.
I believe I am well qualified to help any student excel because of my determination, experience and knowledge base and hope I can work with you!
