Additionally, I have experience as a writing tutor and private Latin tutor. I believe that my experience as well as my enthusiasm, dedication and sincerity make me an ideal tutor. My teaching style emphasizes close collaboration with students, and my goal in any of my classes is to get students to think for themselves and truly undrestand rather than simply memorize or acquire knowledge that is only momemtarily useful. I believe that I possess a certain gentlesness and patience that enables me to work effectively with students in subjects such as languages that can be quite difficult and demanding.
