I've been tutoring for over 15 years and love it. In undergrad, I tutored writing, math, and philosophy to students earning college degrees while incarcerated. I then spent three years training and supervising over 150 tutors to do the same. I learned that tutors wear many hats while guiding students to take ownership of their own learning.

These days, I teach aleph-bet, Biblical grammar, and full B'nai Mitzvah preparation to kids and adults. After earning a BA (cum laude) in Psychology and Religion with a Judaic Studies minor, I took graduate-level Hebrew and Judaic courses and spent over a year in full-time yeshivah study, including at the Jewish Theological Seminary. I love passing on what I’ve learned and learning from my students: l’dor vador goes both ways.
For the past six years, I've taught 1st through 8th grade at four Hebrew schools, online and in person, one-on-one and in small groups. I cover Hebrew, tefilot, parsha, trope, holidays, and Mishna. I love working across denominations and with so many different silly, serious, reluctant, and enthusiastic kids. Come as you are!
Beyond Hebrew school, I design and teach community classes and work with adults one-on-one, including rabbinical school students. I'm often sought out for situations that need extra care—learning differences, seeking a non-mainstream teacher, joining mid-year, or wanting an extra challenge. I tailor each session, cultivate curiosity through a relaxed atmosphere, and provide structure to build mastery and confidence.
I truly love supporting all kinds of students. Please feel free to reach out and share about your learning goals!
