I am an educator and tutor dedicated to helping students reach their full academic potential through personalized, student-centered instruction. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University in 2009. I was state certified as a teacher in Arizona and am currently state certified in Massachusetts. My educational background includes training in instructional strategies, child development, and curriculum design. I maintained a strong academic record and developed effective skills in organization, critical thinking, and differentiated instruction that I now model for my students.
Over the past 13 years, I have tutored approximately 50 students, primarily elementary-aged learners, in both one-on-one and small-group settings. My experience is rooted in individualized tutoring, where I provide targeted support in reading, writing, and math. I use a structured, data-driven approach that includes initial assessments to identify skill gaps, followed by scaffolded instruction, guided practice, and ongoing progress monitoring. I emphasize differentiated instruction to meet each student’s needs while fostering confidence and a growth mindset.
My sessions are engaging and interactive, incorporating hands-on strategies and consistent feedback. I maintain open communication with families to support progress. My goal is to strengthen academic performance while helping students become confident, independent learners prepared for long-term success.
