Making the transition to high school or to college can be tough. As an experienced high school special education and science teacher, I am very familiar with the challenges that come with those transitions and would be happy to help your student find more success. Whether they need help organizing their assignments, creating a plan of attack for their new workload, or help tracking assignment completion, I can help!

In addition, as a veteran Biology teacher, I also can help students who are struggling in high school biology class. Whether students are having a difficult time with the vocabulary, punnett squares or protein synthesis, I can help them get through Biology.

I have been teaching special education and science for more than ten years and love it! I am certified to teach mild to moderate disabilities (grades 5-12), high school biology, and middle school mathematics. During the school year, I co-teach grade 9/10 biology, intro to physics, and chemistry. I also teach small group biology and physics, and study skills. My small group classes are my favorite. I love being able to help students one-on-one, so tutoring is especially enjoyable.

Very Knowledgeable, Super Nice, and Patient Tutor

Jennifer is phenomenal! She is our daughter's ADHD coach, and we could not be happier. She has worked on helping with organization, time management, and assignment prioritization, which has significantly helped this school year because my kiddo is using a planner that is organized and has everything listed! Jennifer is a teacher professionally, and her experience working with ADHD students is obvious. She has also helped my kiddo with suggestions to think about when my daughter goes to college in a year. I truly cannot say enough good things about Jennifer.
