If you are looking for a totally positive, forever smiling face, baby talking, let's always-make-it-fun-because-they're-kids kinda guy then.... look for another tutor. (Although I am a positive person, who smiles a lot and believes every player should have fun because they are learning and making progress). I am a critical coach, who gets my players out of their comfort zone. Sometimes it is the parent who is out of their comfort zone and the player is craving more. As a veteran coach of 45 years of instructing young players, I have seen it all. From instructing players from the number one Prep team in the country (Notre Dame Prep, Fitchburg, MA) to coaching groups of Kindergartners, my experience covers a wide range of abilities. Individualized basketball tutoring will include an evaluation of the players skill set. From the evaluation process a set of objectives will be drawn to help the student progress through and achieve the goals set up by the student.Aside from the skill set evaluation, each player will be observed (optional)in a game situation of the student's choice. As the student progresses more challenging situations will be presented such as but not limited to competition against a player from a level above.
Small group and team development as well as coaching consultation will be available.
