Experienced Russian School of Math tutor with seven years of teaching and leadership experience at the Rocky Hill, CT branch, including several years as Assistant Principal. I was also a student at the original RSM branch in Newton Center, giving me deep knowledge of the curriculum, pacing, and what students need to succeed and advance levels.
I love watching students make consistent progress lesson after lesson and find it especially rewarding when a new concept shifts their perspective and opens up a whole new way of thinking. Whether it’s finally understanding why colors appear the way they do or grasping a challenging math idea, those “aha” moments are what make tutoring so fulfilling.
I specialize in helping students build strong mathematical thinking, clear problem-solving strategies, and the ability to show their work effectively. I also prepare students for SAT and college entrance exams, as well as honors and AP classes in math and sciences.
