I am a qualified Registered Nurse licensed in 2015. My solid foundation in clinical practice and academic instruction positions me well for the role of nurse tutor. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in Adult Gerontology, and I am board-certified. Nursing Education has equipped me with the skills necessary to deliver evidence-based and student-centered instruction.

Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive clinical experience in various healthcare settings, including medical-surgical wards, residential psychiatric wards, Primary care, and acute care settings. This hands-on practice has enabled me to develop a deep understanding of patient care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional ethics—knowledge I consistently integrate into my teaching to bridge theory and practice for students.

My teaching experience: Peer tutor for undergraduate students ages 18 and above at Bristol Community College, Fall River. I facilitated courses such as Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Anatomy, and Physiology. As a Graduate Nurse Practitioner student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, I tutored undergraduate nursing students in pathophysiology and pharmacology.

In the clinical setting, I precepted new-to-practice nurses in medical-surgical nursing, I am skilled in using a range of teaching strategies, case-based learning, and digital platforms to support diverse learning needs.
I actively engage in continuing professional development to stay current with advancements in nursing practice and education. My first undergraduate degree is in Veterinary medicine, I have extensive knowledge of science subjects. My strong communication skills, dedication to lifelong learning, and passion for nursing education make me a committed and effective nurse tutor.
