Denny B. is the best English teacher I have ever had! He is a master of the English language and an exceptional educator. His instructions are always very clear and to the point. I was confused by some of my past teachers on various rules of English writing. Denny B. told me to disregard them all, as writing should not be confined by strict rules but should instead flow according to the logic of the content. He also taught me grammar and clarified many of the confusions I had before. Every lesson with him felt like a delightful journey of discovery. He is always punctual, patient, and encouraging. My packed schedule forced me to reschedule many times, yet he remained incredibly flexible and accommodating. I can't thank him enough for his support!

Mr. B is one of the most rigorous and detailed people I have ever met, on top of his incredible skill as an educator. He is very open-minded and patient; these two attributes allow him to understand the student’s point of view very well, no matter how much he may disagree. He then uses concise yet clear logic to gently guide the student to a good understanding of his advice. He also goes above and beyond to help students: reading and thoroughly annotating long essays before the sessions, recommending excellent resources, and providing life advice. He truly teaches out of his great heart and genuine desire to help students. Under his tutelage, I greatly advanced my writing, particularly my sense of complex grammatical structures, word choice, and logical flow. I am so lucky to have had a chance to learn from this amazing person, and highly recommend him to anyone serious about improving their writing.

Life Lessons Beyond Writing Skills

My child loves reading. He wrote until the winter break of his first year of high school based on the knowledge he gained from reading books. His writing skills were not a problem for him in his studies at school. He was the first freshman from four high schools in the area to win first place in an essay contest usually held for high school seniors, with an essay he wrote himself during winter break. But he realized his writing barrier when he had to write an essay for a summer camp he wanted to attend. Since then, he has been looking for teachers to help him with his essay writing, and the first thing he asked for was his school teachers, but they were not there regularly and they were very busy. So, he looked into other writing teachers, but it was hard to find them, and even if he did find one, the tuition was so expensive that he couldn't afford it. At that moment, I found out about online tutoring rather than in-person tutoring, and I contacted Mr. Denny and told him about my child's situation. Thankfully, even though my child has many shortcomings, he willingly taught my child essay writing. My child has been learning essay writing from Mr. Denny for almost a year now, and his essay writing skills have improved a lot. In addition to his essay writing skills, he learned the life lesson of having to turn in his homework on time. And most importantly, when he grew up, he became like Mr. Denny, shouting out equal opportunity and equal resources, and he wanted to live a life like Mr. Denny, not forgetting the kindness he received from Mr. Denny, and helping students who were struggling financially. My child will continue to do his best to learn from Mr. Denny in the future. Thank you so much for all you do from the bottom of my heart! 💖

If you want to improve your grammar, I highly recommend working with Denny. His grasp of grammar rules and concepts is impressive. He's patient, knowledgeable, and a joy to learn from.
