I'm an historical sociologist with 8 years of tutoring experience. I've worked with high school and college students, as well as adults. I've taught at the university level, including at Columbia University (where I attended for my Master's and was top of my class) and Hampshire College. where I taught sociology. I've tutored writing, research methodology (both qualitative and quantitative), and I edit student works.

Tutoring and teaching has been a passion of mine for almost a decade. I take immense satisfaction in seeing my students succeed, and that 'ah-hah!' moment might be one of the best feelings in the world to me. I believe learning to be integral to a happy life, so it's my goal to make sure that, no matter what I'm helping you with, we're making you and your work the best it can be. I am available for emergency meet-ups.

Writing, proofreading, editing, research methodology (both qualitative and quantitative). Both my MA and BA came from heavily writing-intensive programs, and so I am used to all manner of writing from short 2 page papers to massive 50 page senior projects.

I have two years experience guiding and editing college admission essays, and volunteered as a counselor while attending Hampshire College.

I spent three years working in IT.

I have both a Master's and Bachelor's in historical sociology, and my MA thesis, which culminated in original research, was grounded in sociology, psychology, anthropology, and political science. I have taught several sociology classes at the university level, and have three years tutoring college students.
