Welcome to my tutoring page! I am an educator with six years of classroom experience creating engaging, student-centered lessons for my students. I've worked closely with students on IEPs, 504s, and those learning English as a second language and have watched them succeed during our time together. For me, student success looks like achieving academic goals, developing confidence along the way, and having fun while doing so. I truly believe all students are capable of accomplishing their dreams. They can do this with quality academic support.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (1-6) from Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. I also hold a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement and have taught students whose primary language was not English. I taught third grade for four years, fourth for one, and one year in a combined fourth and fifth grade classroom. My personal strengths as a tutor are helping students master their multiplication and division facts, as well as become stronger writers. I have experience with both in-person and virtual instruction. The families I have worked with know me for my consistent communication, finding solutions to learning challenges in creative ways, and the dedication I have to their students. Working with me means your child is receiving tutoring from an educator who knows what the classroom expectations are from experience, builds lessons based on tangible data, and puts the student's interests first. I cannot wait to work with you and your child on their tutoring journey!
