Hello! I am in my seventh year of teaching third grade and currently serve as a Special Education teacher. I am passionate about helping children build confidence as readers and learners while developing the skills they need to be successful in the classroom.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked in inclusive classrooms, small intervention groups, and one-on-one settings. I regularly design individualized instruction based on formal and informal assessments, and I collaborate closely with families and classroom teachers to ensure progress carries over beyond tutoring sessions. My approach blends structured literacy strategies, multisensory learning, and explicit skill instruction so that students receive clear, supportive guidance at their level.
I believe every child can grow when instruction is patient, engaging, and tailored to their strengths. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students see themselves as capable learners.
