After graduating from Princeton University, I have spent the last 20 years effectively teaching Latin to all types of learners. I have helped 6th graders failing Latin 1 and worked with AP Latin students hoping to get a 5 on the AP exam and each student has improved, many of these dramatically.
Additionally, I have worked with students with a variety of learning profiles. To help each student find success, I develop and tailors a learning plan that worked for that student. As a result all of his students have improved, many dramatically.
While earning my Masters at Harvard University, I did research around the way students learn. Each student learns in a different way and it's often not the rote memorization way that Latin is taught.
I work hard in the first session (it's free) to figure out how a student learns best and then build a plan for each student that plays on that student's strengths and what he/s she can do.
I then constantly enlist the student's help to figure out what's working and what isn't. Because of my experience with so many types of learners, I have effective strategies that support individual strengths.
