Bonjour, hola, czesc! As a Master of Arts in Education in French with experience teaching French and Polish at the university level, as well as French and Spanish in private classrooms, I have worked with students ranging in age from 2 years old to adults. I am also a certified professional tutor with years of dedicated one-on-one instructional experience. Additionally, I am a certified 5-12 World Languages Teacher through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, as well as an Advanced High Proficiency French speaker through the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview standards. I have spent substantial time living, working, and studying in both French- and Spanish-speaking countries, and my native languages are English and Polish. Because my background is rooted in formal linguistics, I don't just teach you phrases to memorize. I help you understand how the language works structurally, which saves you study time and broadens your understanding of other languages. Whether you are an advanced student prepping for AP exams or college-level midterms, an academic needing translation support, or a professional aiming for fluid bilingualism, I build a custom curriculum designed for your specific goals. My lessons are highly interactive, fully structured, and tailored completely to your pace. Let's schedule our first session to unlock your fluency!

Accent Reduction

Accent Reduction

In addition to my professional teaching license and passion for language instruction, I have a strong academic and practical background in accent and pronunciation coaching. I double-majored in Spanish and Linguistics and have extensive training in phonetics, speech production, and the physical properties of speech and sound. Studying multiple languages has given me a highly developed ear for distinguishing subtle differences in sounds, stress, rhythm, intonation, and articulation. My firsthand experience acquiring natural pronunciation through immersion further strengthened this interest. I lived in France for a year and developed a natural French accent through sustained immersion, and my time in Mexico and El Paso similarly shaped my Spanish pronunciation and accent. These experiences have given me both the linguistic knowledge to understand why particular pronunciation patterns occur and the practical experience of developing new speech patterns through listening and deliberate practice. I would love to use this combination of linguistic expertise and personal experience to help learners modify their accents, improve intelligibility, and develop greater confidence in their spoken communication.
ESL/ESOL

ESL/ESOL

I have hands-on experience teaching English as a second language, having developed and taught my own English curriculum during an immersive volunteer experience in Orizaba, Mexico. Combined with my formal training as a licensed educator and my background in Spanish, Linguistics, and language instruction, I bring both practical ESL teaching experience and a strong understanding of how languages are learned. I design engaging, differentiated lessons that build confidence and prioritize meaningful communication in real-world contexts.
French

French

As a Massachusetts-licensed French educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I have independently led classrooms and learning environments across preschool, middle school, high school, university, and adult education settings. My lessons are engaging, interactive, differentiated, and supported by assessment data that identify learning needs. My goal is for students to communicate confidently and develop their language skills in a supportive environment that allows them to interact in real-world simulated speaking contexts. I fell in love with the French language and culture as a young teenager and spent my junior year of high school living and studying fully in French, in Nîmes - I love sharing my passion with other learners!
Polish

Polish

Beyond speaking solely Polish with my family, I attended Polish Saturday school throughout primary and secondary school, and I graduated from Szkoła Języka Polskiego Im. Św. Jana Pawła II in Boston in May 2014. In Fall 2025, I independently planned and taught an intermediate Polish course during a professor’s sabbatical at Boston College, designing instruction for both heritage speakers and second-language learners.

Reading

As a Massachusetts-licensed French educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I have enjoyed not only teaching languages in the classroom, but also engaging with students in one-on-one tutoring sessions, where we target learning goals and make a concrete plan for reaching them. My multilingual knowledge has strengthened my ability to anticipate and understand learners’ needs and backgrounds, and I love working collaboratively to help others build understanding and confidence!
Spanish

Spanish

After having double-majored in French and Spanish & Linguistics, followed by my education license from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I’ve enjoyed teaching Spanish to high school ages in addition to teaching other languages across all age levels including higher education. My lessons are engaging, interactive, differentiated, and supported by assessment data that identify learning needs. My goal is for students to communicate confidently and develop their language skills in a supportive environment that allows them to interact in real-world simulated speaking contexts. I fell in love with the Spanish language and Hispanic culture after immersive volunteering experiences in Orizaba, Mexico and El Paso, Texas - I love sharing my passion with other learners!
