I am currently pursuing a Business degree, which I will complete by December 2025, and have been working in education for the past eight years. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in a variety of roles, including two years as a substitute teacher at SICS and two years as a full-time classroom teacher. During this time, I became well-versed in developing lesson plans, accommodating students with special needs, and tailoring my approach to meet the requirements of IEPs. This experience has honed my ability to deliver flexible, student-centered instruction in both one-on-one and group settings.

Currently, I serve as an Academic Coach, where I work with MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and other individualized plans to help students succeed academically and behaviorally. I collaborate with students to build learning strategies that improve their academic performance in core subjects like English and math. My role also involves creating customized lesson plans that cater to students' specific needs, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance necessary for success in their coursework. I utilize a combination of academic strategies, behavioral support techniques, and visual learning tools to keep students engaged and focused on their learning goals.

With my background in teaching, lesson planning, and academic coaching, I am confident in my ability to provide effective tutoring that helps students not only improve in math and other subjects but also develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in all areas of their education. My experience working with students with diverse needs, including those with IEPs, equips me with the tools to adapt to various learning styles and challenges, ensuring that every student can thrive.
