I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and currently work in R&D at a commercial life science company. I’m not just teaching from a textbook, I’m applying the concepts I teach professionally every day. That real-world perspective helps students understand not just what to memorize, but why it matters and how it connects to the bigger picture.
My teaching experience spans a wide range of subjects, ages, and settings. I’ve served as an English teaching assistant abroad for middle schoolers, tutored high school students in math and science across a variety of topics, and worked as a private computer science instructor for K–12 students. That breadth means I know how to read a student quickly, whether they’re 8 or 18.
I understand how each student possesses their own strengths and weaknesses, which we’ll leverage to reach individual goals. From those who are frustrated and falling behind, to high achievers pushing for top, my goal is to work together to decide what strategies we can use to move forward. Some students need concepts broken down from scratch before touching a practice problem. Others need to be challenged and pushed.
My core subjects are AP Biology, College Biology, SAT/ACT Science, and Algebra/Pre-Calculus, backed by several years of formal classroom teaching and private tutoring experience.
If your student has been stuck, lost, or just not reaching their potential, I’d love to help change that.
