I have more than four years of direct instructional experience across K–12 and pre-college settings. I spent three years tutoring ESL for elementary and secondary students, and an additional year as a certified reading tutor with Ignite Reading, working one-on-one with readers in grades K–8. I also taught English at bilingual secondary schools in Madrid as both a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant and later an Auxiliar de Conversación. In these roles I created original curriculum, led weekly discussion-based classes, and supported students in grammar, phonics, reading comprehension, and academic communication.
Above all, I want every student to experience success and authentic confidence. Whether I’m supporting early readers, multilingual learners, or middle school students working toward stronger comprehension and fluency, my goal is always for tutoring to feel empowering — a space where students feel heard, supported, and proud of their own progress.
