Hi! My name is Nicholas and I usually go by Mr. Nick! I have been playing and studying music for over a decade at this point, and am currently pursuing my Music Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst! I will be heading into my fourth and final year of schooling beginning Fall 2025, and have been teaching/tutoring for the past 5 years. My main instrument is percussion, but I am also fluent in any wind instrument or Piano and can teach beginners how to get started. For percussion, however, I have a much more advanced and extensive background and educational ability for those instruments. From drum set to solo marimba, I've got you covered! The majority of my teaching resides in one on one instruction for middle-high school students, and I've also done select substitute teaching in music classrooms, general ed classrooms, and after school activities. In addition to my musical abilities, I am also well versed in the general act of teaching and progressing students through their academic career, so I can tutor in all subjects ranging from Elementary to High School levels!
