Outstanding Tutor For Challenging STEM subjects

We came to David for help preparing my daughter for her precalculus tests, and he was able to jump right in and quickly help her understand the concepts she was struggling with. We also asked him to help with physics topics on very short notice. David put in a great deal of effort to understand exactly where her confusion was and made sure she developed a solid grasp of the material. In addition, David is highly responsive, punctual, and supportive. We will absolutely continue working with him as our go-to tutor for future academic help.

Fantastic Math Tutor: Effective, Patient and Clear Teaching Style

David helped my son in preparing for an important Pre-Calculus Exam. One of the goals was to go over several problems and make sure my son understood the concepts deeply. My son tends to move through solving problems quickly by combine steps that can lead to mistakes. At exactly the right moments, David would stop him and ask him how he jumped from one step to another and why he was solving the problem in the chosen direction. This uncovered both careless mistakes and unneeded complication in solving problems. David managed and used the session time efficiently and my son left the session with a better understanding of the topics for the test. I would recommend David without hesitation.

Great Signals and Systems Tutor

In our session, we covered multiple questions on impulse response, laplace transforms, and fourier transforms. He is very efficient, so we were able to cover a lot of material in an hour. His sessions are also very interactive, which kept me from getting bored or disengaged. He did a great job answering my questions and giving me shortcuts to problems. Overall, I am now more confident with my understanding on laplace and fourier.

So far I've had 3 sessions with David (including our introductory session) and it is very clear to me that he has a deep understanding of the material. I initially reached out to him as I needed help bridging my theoretical understanding between Fluids and Hydraulics, an odd request as it is not the typical homework help. David's clear explanations and guidance through the materials shows a clear mastery of the subjects, he's been a fantastic help in gaining a better intuition for the subject matter. It almost feels like I am back in my lectures in college again, except this time it's one-on-one. He doesn't waste too much time on chatting and will jump right into the material, but he is well prepared and structures his lessons with clear goals in mind. I would definitely recommend him for someone who is looking for help with more advanced subjects. I am updating my review to mention that after about a month of studying with David, I was able to pass my graduate school entrance exam. I certainly would not have passed without his help and expertise. He tailored the content perfectly to my needs, and with his guidance I was well-prepared, if not over-prepared, for my exam.
