I have been a teacher in the Boston area for the past 5 years. I have taught general education ELA and History classes, as well as special education classes across content areas, including life skills and executive functioning. I have worked with students with no disabilities, with ASD, ADHD, and other profiles. My students have ranged from grades 4-10. Additionally, I tutored throughout my high school and college years. Prior to teaching, I majored in middle childhood education in college. I graduated magna cum laude with concentrations in Language Arts and Social Studies. After graduation I went straight into Teach For America, and have continued teaching since.
My teaching pedagogy is one of patience, rigor, and accountability. I believe that every single student can succeed with the right support. I would love to be a part of that support for your student if you believe we are a good fit.
