I am a resident physician in the Boston area with a strong academic background and extensive tutoring experience across multiple levels of education. I earned my medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University, where I graduated in the top quarter of my class. I previously attended UC Davis, completing a double major in biochemistry and psychology and graduating Summa Cum Laude. Over the years, I have also developed effective strategies for standardized test preparation, reflected in my performance on exams such as the SAT, MCAT, and USMLE. More importantly, these experiences have shaped how I teach students to break down complex material, build confidence, and approach exams methodically.
I have worked with students ranging from middle and high school learners to college students, medical students, and resident physicians. I began tutoring in high school through an enrichment program for underprivileged middle school students in San Francisco, where I taught math and science for several years. In college, I tutored underclassmen in biology, chemistry, and statistics. During medical school, I tutored multiple preclinical courses as well as both USMLE Step 1 and Step 2. I take a student-centered approach to tutoring and tailor each session to the learner’s goals, background, and learning style. I am especially proud of helping students gain confidence and reach milestones they once thought were out of reach, whether that meant becoming the first in their family to attend college, gaining admission to professional or PhD programs, or achieving strong performance in demanding medical school courses and Step 1/2.
