Whether your child is struggling in school or has passionate interests which cannot be engaged through their school coursework, a private tutor who cares genuinely about their learning and can offer support and encouragement, targeted practice in areas of weakness, enriched explanations, and questions to ensure a deeper level of understanding can be transformative in their academic success. I can offer this support in math, writing, reading, and other subjects.

I might also support your family in PSAT/SAT preparation. Standardized testing presents an opportunity for students to challenge themselves to practice discipline and a growth mindset as they work towards a goal they set for themselves. I took the SAT one time and received a 1570. I was among the top 1% of California test-takers on the PSAT, which led me to become a National Merit Scholar, and I received a 5 on the AP exams for AP Psychology, Human Geography, Calculus, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, World History, and Statistics.

Excellent Tutor

Mahika is a smart and excellent tutor. She has been a tutor for the elementary students for ELA and Math for the last 5 months. She adapts herself to any learning plan changes and makes scheduling the lessons easy for parents with prompt communication. She makes sure that the student would not make the same mistakes by providing similar questions on the spot and letting the students explain the process to solve the problem. She always checks that the students really understand the concept not just doing a lecture. Her lessons are always cheerful and relaxed mode which builds the student’s motivation to learn and trust the tutor. Her detailed feedback after the lesson made the lesson progress and the development clear to the parent who makes the next learning plan. Thanks to her, the student’s academic performance in the school has been drastically improved. Mahika is a highly recommended tutor.
