I earned my M.Ed. from Boston College in Moderate Special Needs Education in 2012. With that background, I taught in a substantially-separate classroom for students with special needs, crafted IEPs, and worked with counselors to write 504 Plans. I also conducted evaluations to determine if students qualified for special education services, like ADHD, based on their performance on assessments that I administered.

I earned my M.Ed. in Moderate Special Needs Education (grades 5-12) from Boston College in 2012. After completing this degree, I passed the MTEL (Massachusetts teaching licensure exam) and earned my special education teaching certification as well. Thus, I am a licensed special educator with a comprehensive knowledge of relevant pedagogy to support learners with special needs. I have also taught hundreds of students with special needs over the past 13 years by implementing their IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity. I follow the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to best serve these leaners.
