Hi! I'm currently an undergraduate student at MIT studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I have several years of experience as both a teaching assistant and tutor, working with students ranging in age from 5 to 23. I offer support in standardized test preparation (SAT, ACT, PSAT), academic subjects including math, computer science, electrical engineering, data science, and Chinese, as well as guidance on college application essays and interview preparation. I scored a 1560 on the SAT (800 in Math, 760 in Reading & Writing) and enjoy helping students develop strategies to reach their own testing goals.
Currently, I serve as a teaching assistant for an online college-level statistics course with 60 students, where I lead weekly labs and office hours. I work closely with a team of TAs to review practice problems and explain complex concepts, helping students build confidence and succeed. In the past, I taught at iCode, where I designed engaging lesson plans and led both group classes and one-on-one sessions for students aged 5–14. I introduced kids to programming, computer hardware, robotics, and fun science experiments to spark their interest in STEM. Whether you're looking for academic support, test prep, or a deeper dive into STEM topics, I’m excited to help you learn and grow.
