I am a junior at Harvard University conducting neuroscience and biophysics research over the summer. I have taken advanced classes in mathematics, neuroscience, physics, and computer science including Math 55 a/b in my first year. My physics education includes two semesters of quantum mechanics, and advanced electrodynamics and classical mechanics. My computer science education consists of systems programming and data structures & algorithms, both taken in my second year at Harvard. I have also taken upper level classes in statistics (stochastic processes) and engineering (graduate level fluid dynamics) and have maintained a 4.0 gpa. I scored a 36 on the ACT in high school.
My tutoring experience includes computer science tutoring for younger students in high school and one on one physics tutoring in college, mostly for the MCAT. I have also worked as a course assistant for introductory quantum mechanics and held office hours and graded tests. The class was as pretty evenly split between all years of college students. I’ve always loved teaching in general and try to always help my friends out with their work, no matter the level. In my free time, I like to learn about art history, play music (piano, cello, guitar), and rock climb.
