Exciting News: In May 2020 I received the Award for Teaching Excellence in Psychology at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy University!
I have taught Psychology on the college level for the past 30 years! I have an Ed.D from Boston University in Counseling Psychology. We can make Psychology fun and I can help you to study for exams and work on your assignments! I also teach AP Psychology and can help with your online Psychology classes since most classes are taught online now due to the pandemic and assignments can be confusing. I have created Power Points for your General Psychology Class and and AP Psychology class.

If you are motivated to succeed we are a team! Let us give it a try! I am also happy to work with you using FaceTime if that is easier. Evening hours are available as well as on weekends.

I also offer assistance in helping you find the college that is right for you and working with you on your undergraduate and graduate essays .As a Psychologist I specialize in stress reduction for students who are navigating their way to make the college selection process less overwhelming.
I have taught General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology Developmental Psychology,Gender Roles and and many more courses in Psychology both on the undergraduate and graduate level. I have found that General Psychology can be the most challenging for students in term of how to study! I have developed study guides for my students which are both thorough and comprehensive and a great learning tool. I also work with students who have specific need in terms of test taking. We can work together to help you with your specific needs as a student. I really enjoying help students do their best even when you may feel that you have hit a brick wall. I pride myself in helping you find solutions!

I help them to create study guides, deal with the anxiety that they have when taking exams and focus on individualized organizational skills to met their needs.

I am able to assist them with writing cover letters, resumes and the correct procedures that are necessary for them to succeed in their desired fields of employment. The areas that I have worked with students in have been Psychology, English, Pre-Med, and help with applications for graduate school. Through my positions at the University level students have asked for my assistance as they pursue various career paths. I have also helped my students apply for internships in Psychology and the field of Medicine. I help students with their resume and cover letters to ensure that they are formatted correctly and convey the correct information.

I am a college counselor and have been working with high school students as well as graduate students helping them with their applications as they apply to college and graduate school. I have a Doctorate from Boston University in Counseling Psychology. I have been working with students on the college level my entire career. This includes helping students with their college essays, selecting colleges and assisting them through the entire college process which I know can be very stressful. Starting college essays can be the most most stressful part of the process. I have the skill set to help students in a stress-free way. I am also a college professor in Psychology and I also work with transfer students and graduate students. I can help you with this entire process online or in person as you begin this milestone in your life.

I was able to assist my Teaching Assistants through the years to help them feel secure in giving lectures as well as giving talk at seminars and conferences. I am able to help students develop study skills and help them be better organized in the ways that they study. Having been a college professor for over thirty years I am able to understand students needs in help in trying to figure out how to study. Many students need help with this skill on all levels. I begin by setting up an individualized plan for each subject area . Then we move on to the best ways for them to study. Taking notes, rewriting their notes, using a tape recorder, PowerPoint, etc.
