¡Hola, hola, caracola! My name is María, I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain and a professional teacher with a strong academic background and years of experience. After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and gaining various international teaching experiences through internships and practical training, I pursued two Master’s degrees: one in Language Teaching in Higher Education and another in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Since 2017, I have been teaching Spanish to students of different ages and backgrounds. Since 2021, I have been teaching all levels of IB Spanish in an international school. Recently, I also started teaching Spanish at Harvard Extension School as a Teaching Assistant, which has given me the opportunity to work with highly motivated learners in a university setting.

I teach Spanish as a Foreign Language for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. I also offer IB Spanish support at all levels, including exam preparation, practice for oral individuals, and guidance with written assignments. Whether you want to work on academic or conversational Spanish, my lessons will help you improve your fluency, confidence, and accuracy. All classes are tailored to your goals, needs, and learning style, so you can make steady and meaningful progress.

I am passionate about creating lessons that are dynamic, engaging, and personalized. My goal is to help you feel confident using Spanish in real-life situations as well as in academic contexts. Whether you are preparing for IB exams, university studies, or simply want to communicate better, and why not, we can even plan immersive experiences in Spain, giving you the opportunity to learn the language in real-life contexts while exploring Spanish culture and traditions. I will design a plan to support your progress.
